Without the financial backing of our sponsors & supporters, the annual St Wilfrid's Procession would no longer be financially viable, bringing to an end a unique ancient tradition that puts Ripon on the map.

As with most things in life, each year sees a significant increase in the costs associated with running the procession with insurance, road closures and traffic management all swelling large segments of the annual budget.

In order to keep the ancient tradition of the annual St Wilfrid's Procession alive for future generations, the committee rely on the generosity of local individuals, businesses & organisations sponsoring elements of the event.

With the ever increasing costs associated with running a large event, the procession now costs several thousand pounds each year to host with traffic management & road closures being the biggest costs to the committee.

Businesses & organisations who choose to sponsor the procession recieve marketing exposure to thousands of people before, during and after the event.
